The driver involved in the accident that tragically claimed the life of former Intel India head Avtar Saini has claimed he lost control of the vehicle due to fatigue.

Avtar Saini, a respected figure in the technology industry, was struck by a speeding cab while cycling on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred on Palm Beach Road in Navi Mumbai’s Nerul area at around 5:50 AM.

The driver, identified as 23-year-old Rishikesh Khade, reportedly attempted to flee the scene after the collision. The bicycle frame became lodged under the cab, hindering his escape.
