This time around, the Hyundai Creta is adopting a slightly more minimalist approach to its dashboard design. Among the key alterations, it features a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, expected to come with a revamped user interface for its touchscreen infotainment system. Hyundai confirms that the 2024 Creta will debut in seven variants: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O).

  • Center Console Redesign: The center console has undergone a redesign, placing focus on the revamped infotainment system and a new touch-controlled climate system situated just below it.

Variant Offerings and Engine Options

Hyundai has officially confirmed that the 2024 Creta will roll out in seven variants and will offer three engine choices: a 1.5L MPi Petrol, a 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel, and a 1.5L Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol engine. Notably, the turbo-petrol variant will not offer a manual transmission.

Booking Details and Exterior Changes

Bookings for the 2024 Creta have already commenced, requiring a deposit of Rs. 25,000. The exterior changes include tweaks to the front and rear bumpers, new LED DRLs, rectangular LED headlamps, a distinctive LED light bar on the tailgate, and new grille designs.

Competition and Market Presence

Over the last three years, the Hyundai Creta has been a consistent favorite among SUV enthusiasts in the Indian market. With over 9.5 lakh satisfied customers, its popularity remains steadfast. However, upon its release, the 2024 Creta will face competition from models such as the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Tata Harrier, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.
