CBSE releases exam city information for CTET  admit card January 2024

Successful candidates appearing in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for class 1 to class 5. The successful candidates appearing in Paper 2 will be considered eligible for the next teacher recruitment for classes 6 to 8. On January 21, 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test in two shifts. from 2:30 pm to 5 pm on the first shift and from 9:30 am to 12 noon on the second. The applicants’ examination city slips will include the name of their examination center.

What should be the minimum marks?

To pass the CTET exam, a candidate must obtain the minimum qualifying scores. CTET Minimum Passing Marks: You must receive at least 90 points out of 150 (60 percent) for General Category and 82 points out of 150 (55 percent) for SC and ST.exam pattern

CTET Paper 1 (for grades 1 through 5): 150 questions totaling 150 marks will be asked.

• Child Development and Education (Required): 30 out of 30 points
• Language: 30 questions totaling 30 marks (mandatory)
• Language || (Required): 30 questions totaling 30 points
• Math: thirty questions worth of marks
• Studies of the Environment thirty questions worth thirty marks

CTET Paper 2: 150 questions worth 150 points will be available for students in classes 6 through 8.

• Child Development and Education (Required): 30 out of 30 points
• Language: (30 questions, 30 marks; mandatory)
• Language || (Required): 30 questions totaling 30 points
• Social Studies or Math and Science (for Math and Science teachers)
• 60 questions totaling 60 marks are assigned for Social Science (Social Studies/Social Science Teacher).
