HCL Tech Q3 Results 2024

HCL Tech Q3 Results: IT giant HCL Technology has announced the results for the third quarter of the financial year 2023-24. Net profit stood at Rs 4350 crore with an increase of 15.3 percent on quarterly basis and 6.2 percent on annual basis. The company has also announced a huge dividend of 600 percent. This is the 84th consecutive quarter when the company has declared dividend. Before the results, this stock closed at Rs 1540 (HCL Tech Share Price) with a rise of 3.7 percent. It has also made a new all time high of Rs 1555 in intraday.

According to the information available , the net profit of HCL Tech in Q3 was Rs 4350 crore which was Rs 3833 crore in the September quarter and Rs 4096 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue stood at Rs 28446 crore which was Rs 26672 crore in the September quarter and Rs 26700 crore a year ago. EPS i.e. Earning per share stood at Rs 16.06 which was Rs 14.15 per share in the September quarter and Rs 15.13 per share a year ago.

Profit margin was 15.3%

HCL Tech’s gross profit in Q3 was Rs 10448 crore. EBITDA stood at Rs 6758 crore. EBIT stood at Rs 5615 crore. EBITDA margin was 23.8 percent in the December quarter, which was 22.3 percent in the September quarter and 23.9 percent a year ago. Net profit margin stood at 15.3 percent, which was 14.4 percent in the September quarter and 15.3 percent a year ago.

On the face value of Rs 2, HCL Technology has declared a dividend of 600 percent i.e. Rs 12 per share (HCL Tech announced Dividend). The company said that this is the 84th consecutive quarter when the company has given the gift of dividend to the shareholders. Record date is 20th January (HCL Tech Dividend Record Date) and dividend will be paid by 31st January. This is an interim dividend

As of December 31, 2023, 224756 people work with the company. 3617 new people have joined in the third quarter. 3818 freshers have also been hired. The attrition rate was 12.8 percent which was 21.7 percent a year ago. In Q3, the company has received new orders worth $1927 million. 18 large deals have been finalized in which 6 are related to service sector and 12 are related to software.

HCL TECH Q3 RESULT 2024 What guidance has the management given regarding FY24?

The management has issued healthy guidance regarding FY24. On the basis of CC i.e. Constant Currency, the revenue growth for this fiscal is expected to be 5-5.5 percent. EBIT margin is expected to be between 18-19 percent.
